We took the kids for their first Laser Show experience last weekend. They all had a blast. We met up with some of our firends - Zach, Grace, Zachary & Aaron (and of course their parents) for dinner at the playground then to the lawn for the show. We had a great time, the kids really seemed to enjoy it and stayed awake for the most part to take it all in! :)

Twilight video ...

So, a bunch of people are into this series called Twilight by Stephanie Meyer, they are great. Couldn't put the first 3 down, read each in a day. I found out my cousin and aunt-in-law were into them too. Well, Alexis, my 15 year old cousin-in-law made this video. I think its great, check it out even if you aren't a fan of the books. These kids can do aweosme stuff on the computer now days - she puts me under the table!

We went to Lexi's soccer game at the YMCA tonight.

Lexi is great, and looks like she is gonna be a pro like her daddy.

Everyone had a good time, we'll have to make it a regular Thursday night event!

Stn. Mtn. with friends ...

Today we decided to go have a picnic at Stone Mtn. Park with our friends Ms. Rachel and her kiddos Zach & Grace. We went to the lawn and let the kids run wild. They had so much fun just running up the lawn and down the lawn...it was so cute! All except for Coop, which is why we have such great pics of him! He just sat and smiled and watched the sky lift go up and down.
I love this place! I have so many childhood memories from here. We used to go see the Laser Show all the time and go on picnics with family and friends. I'm trying to do some of the same things with my kids b/c I want them to have these fun memories as well.

Jacksonville weekend trip

I will remember ...

everything that happened this day 7 years ago. I will never forget that crazy terrorists attacked us on our own soil. Lets not forget the innocent people who died 9/11 so that some crazy nut jobs could make a point. Please lets never forget that freedom is not free and thank an American soldier each and everyday!

I thank God that we are all alive and well today! And I pray for the ones who were lost and the ones who are overseas - Godspeed.
