We're back!

The 3-night Disney cruise to the Bahamas was GREAT! We had the best time! Abby had a blast and Cooper and Parker were very happy with aunt Claudia while we were gone!

So - I will start all of this updating with the details and then post an update everyday this week till I think I have you all more than covered with pictures!!

We left when Aunt Claudia got here on Wednesday night to watch the twins. We headed to Jacksonville to stay with Tim's parents - AKA Grandma and Papaw to Abby. We just crashed there Wed nite (actually Thur morning since we got there at 2 am). We got up and headed to Port Canaveral. We saw the boat from the highway and Abby totally freaked out. We had to stop on the way in to the parking area to take her picture in front of "Mickey's boat"! No problems heading in - Disney is amazing! Got in the boat and straight to eat on the top deck! Great food, tons of people, entertainment, just perfect! Went to the room - it was decorated for Abby's birthday, cake too! Dinner was at Triton's, pretty good and Abby was thrilled it was decorated with Ariel. Walked around most of the night and went to bed early - we were all pooped! Especially Abby since she is terrified of the characters, even the princesses! Oh well, maybe next year.

Friday - Abby's 3rd birthday! - We were in Nassau. Not in love with Nassau, prob won't leave the boat next time we go. Tried to do a tour of Atlantis - so not worth it. We left 15 minutes into it. Back to the boat, where Abby is happy and entertained. Had a nap, went to a show - "Toy Story the Musical". It was great! Abby loved it. Then we went to dinner at Animator's Palate. This is the coolest restaurant ever. It changes colors and the food was excellent. Perfect birthday dinner and day for my princess!

Saturday - the best day of the cruise by far! It was the day we went to Castaway Cay, Disney's own private island. Awesome, amazing, wonderful, fun, clean, yummy, perfect ... I could go on and on about this place. We think they should make a cruise of just this port! Then it was back to the boat for nap. Then the best show I have ever seen, "Enchanted Dreams". This show was great - it was mainly Peter Pan and Wendy, but the dreams were of different Disney stories (Cinderella, Aladdin, Lion King, Beauty and the Beast). AWESOME! Abby loved it, we loved it and now Abby is very into Tinkerbell! Then we had dinner at Parrot Cay, pretty good too!

Sunday we were off the ship and in the car headed back to Jacksonville by 8:30 am! Way to go Disney for making this a seamless experience! We are looking into booking already again for next year and taking the twins!!!

Sunday night - we get to Tim's parents. Hang out and take a nap. Wake up from nap and Grandma and Papaw set up a little party for Abby's birthday. A princess party. She loved it! Then we went to their very fun pool for a little dip and sliding, then of course afternoon summer in Florida a storm to send everyone home early. We were all watching "Cars" when Abby decided to go behind the couch & end tables and pick pills up off the floor and eat them. That landed us in Wolfson Children's ER. Abby got admitted overnight to be monitored since we didn't know what she took or how much. They drew blood on her every 2 hours till 8am, then got a urine sample. Everything was clean and clear all night long, thank God. We got discharged and headed back to Atlanta about 11 am.

All in all it was a GREAT trip. We had a ton of fun. Everyone was safe and healthy in the end - that's all that matters. Oh - and I got home to a house cleaner than I left it. Happy happy babies. And check this out - an organized pantry. My sister cracks me up, she was bored so she organized my pantry - LOVE IT! Can't thank her enough, I have been wanting to do it for about a year now! YAY! Thanks Claudia!

So - check back everyday this week for pics from each day we were gone!
